  In 2026 it will be 250 years since the founding of the USA, and we mark this anniversary with a concert led by our American chief conductor Dennis Russell Davies. The programme offers works by three greats of American music: George Gershwin (1898–1937), Leonard Bernstein (1918–1990) and William Bolcom (born 1938), who have brought the language of popular music and dance to the concert stage.
